Clara P. Burney
Clara Perrin Burney, 78, of Gray Court, widow of Wayne Francis Burney, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Born in Iva, SC, she was a daughter of the late Mack Perrin and the late Frances Cross Billings.
Clara was a loving mother, GiGi, sister and friend. She was a jack of all trades. She loved to cook and give cooking lessons to all of her grandkids and great grandkids. She love to watch birds, quilting and doing crafts. She always loved working on the farm. She loved her garden and planting vegetables and watching them grow. Most of all, she loved her family and her family loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed.
Clara is survived two daughters, Lisa Burchfield of Gray Court and Mona Burney Black and her husband, Marty, of North Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Robert Burchfield Jr, Danielle Dockery, and Ashley Hedrick; six great grandchildren, Sadie Burchfield, Patrick Dockery, Bella Hedrick, Bentley Burchfield, and Paisley and Peyton Dockery; and six siblings, Walt Perrin, Bobby Perrin, Sonny Billings, Ida Billings, Bruce Billings, and Tommy Billings.
In addition to her husband and parents, Clara was preceded in death by her siblings, Flora Powers, Ricky Billings, Maxine Martin, and Betty Perrin.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
