Myrtes Jean Holiday
Myrtes J. Holiday, 83, of Greenville, wife of Richard Holiday, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 while at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Conestee, she was a daughter of the late James and Lois Hughey. Mrs. Holiday was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Conestee.
In addition to her husband, Richard, Mrs. Holiday is survived by their children, Debra Odell (Keith), Donna Dukeshier (David), Della Russ (Douglas) all of Greenville, and Lant Holiday (Judy) of Charleston; grandchildren, Jonathan, Amy, and Lauren Russ, Stacy and Jacob Dukeshier, Hannah Thomas (Daniel), and Bryce Holiday; and three great-grandchildren, Saddie, Tyler, and Ellie Grace Thomas.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Although no formal Receiving of Friends will be held, friends may pay their respects Monday, January 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held Cryptside in Greenville Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 4, at 1:00 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Open Arms Hospice.
Richard, Debra, Donna, Della, Lant and family members and friends, please know that our thoughts and payers are with you all during this time. Myrtes was such a sweet lady and lifelong friend and she will be missed by all who knew her. Her testimony and life here proceeds her into the arms of our Heavenly Father where we will join her one glad day. Rest in Peace our friend.

She was a blessing to all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.She was sweet and kind to everyone.She will truly be missed but Jesus just welcomed an Angel home and she is praising and worshipping Him. Daddy holliday , Debbie, Donna, pumpkin, and lant and all rest of family . I am very saddened by this she was such a sweetie and so beautiful . Ricky and I cannot make it to service due to work but just know we are there on thoughts and prayers. Love you , Ricky and jill bowers
