Glendean Slone Blackburn

Glendean Blackburn, 80, of Simpsonville, widow of Pastor Ron Blackburn, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Born in Chattaroy, WV, she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Polly Kirk Slone. Mrs. Blackburn was a member of Bible Baptist Church Simpsonville.

Mrs. Blackburn, is survived by one daughter, Ronda Brown and her husband, Dr. William W. Brown, Jr., of Simpsonville; two grandchildren, Davy Brown and his wife, Breanna, of Simpsonville, and MaryKatherine Brown also of Simpsonville; two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Conley Brown; and one sister, Barbara Smith and her husband, Monus, of Portsmouth, Ohio.

A private committal service for the family will be held in the Cannon Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum prior to the service.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 8841 Augusta Road, Pelzer, SC officiated by Dr. William Brown.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
