Erma Jean Downey
Erma Jean Downey, 75, widow of Darrell Downey, of Simpsonville, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020. Born in Mineral Wells, TX, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Elvira Pipkorn Whalen.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Downey of Simpsonville; one granddaughter, Brittany Moore and her husband Willie, who she claimed as her grandchild; three great grandchildren, Kennedy T. Moore, Ellie R. Moore, Sadie S. Moore; two brothers, Bob and Tom Whalen both of Wisconsin; and two cousins Chuck and Lois Robinson of Knoxville, TN.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC.
