Frances “Fran” Thomas
Frances “Fran” Thressia Bauman Thomas, wife of David Lloyd Thomas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 26, 2014. She passed peacefully at her home in Fountain Inn with her husband, David, at her side.
Fran was a faithful follower of her Lord and was an active member of her Church, Calvary Baptist in Simpsonville. She was a devoted teacher at Tri-Cities Christian School in Johnson City, Tennessee. She was a loving wife, devoted daughter and caring sister. Fran was a benevolent aunt to her nieces and nephews, as well as to the many people who were touched by her testimony.
Fran was the daughter of the late Rev. Lewis Edward Bauman and Eleanor Bauman.
In addition to her husband, David Lloyd Thomas, and her mother, Eleanor Bauman, she is survived by her brother, David Bauman, husband of Joy Bauman; sister, Linda Bauman Snodgrass, wife of Henry “Dale” Snodgrass; sister, Ruth Ann Bauman Steadman, wife of Dr. Nathan “Bud” Steadman; and her many nieces and nephews: Steve and Sarah Steadman Gilbert, Nathan and Janelle Moeckly Steadman, Emily Snodgrass, Matthew and Eleanor Snodgrass Moser, Alma Snodgrass, G.W. and Hannah Steadman Bowers, Michael Bauman and Ameigh Bauman. She is survived by three great-nephews and nieces, Javele Moser, Emma Gilbert, and Elijah Steadman.
The Funeral Service will be on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 – 1:45 pm. Interment will be a private service.
