Thomas Larry Alberson
Thomas Larry Alberson, 73, husband of Sharon Alberson of Simpsonville passed away Friday, January 10, 2020.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late David Ansel Alberson and the late Isabelle Brock Alberson. Larry was a veteran of the Army and worked as a welder for South Carolina Steel.
In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by two daughters, Billie Alberson Morgan (David) and April Alberson; son Jeremy Crenshaw (Tavia); daughter-in-law, Melody Crenshaw; nine grandchildren, Lynnzie Coffey (Kenneth), Christopher Alberson (Sacia), Kayla Crawford (DJ), Andrew Alberson, Kayla Hice, Mason Martin, Kara Crenshaw, Jacob Scroggins, and Nathan Bennefield; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Wade Alberson (Gail), and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill “Son” Alberson; two sisters, Lillie Jean Smith and Mallie Ruth Thompson; and a son, Scott Crenshaw.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Heritage Funeral Home from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be at Temple Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Larry will be laid to rest following the service at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
