James Charles Tate
James Charles Tate, 86, husband of Mildred Tate, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Born in Lock Haven, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Tate and Florence Bonner Tate.
In addition to his wife Millie, Jim is survived by three daughters, Linda Gutman and her husband, Michael, of Jackson, NJ, Pat Luchetta and her husband, Stephen of Simpsonville, SC, and Debra Raudenbush and her husband, Michael, of Broomall, PA; son, Jim Tate and his fiancée, Carol Horne, of Simpsonville, SC; eleven grandchildren, Chris Raudenbush, Beth Crockett, Jon Raudenbush, Rachael Raudenbush, Sara Raudenbush, Katie Gutman, Michael Gutman, Jennifer Anthony, Joshua Tate, Andrew Tate, and Daniel Tate; twenty-two great grandchildren; his brother, Joseph Tate and his wife, Diane, of Nashua, NH; and his sister, Margaret Prendergast and her husband, John, of West Chester, PA.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Luchetta, and his sister, Frances Hoster.
A Memorial Service will be held in his home state of Pennsylvania at a later date.
