Marilyn enjoyed the creations of God and especially loved bird watching and growing plants in her greenhouse and garden.

My life was made better by knowing Marilyn. She was a shining example of Gods love. Prayers for the family
Larry and Family I have known Marilyn since we were kids at Standing Springs and I remember when she first walked into our little Sunday School class. She was always the sweetest person I had to deal with while she served in the Solicator’s Office and I at the Sheriff’s Office. We all love her and Larry and boy could she cook a desert. Praying for each one of you and praising God as she is now in home.

I loved this special lady dearly.I will most remember her soft gentle smile her love of Jesus and for me her greatest sermon her Mary Did You Know. That day I had a lump in my throat I could not breathe tears in my eyes that ran like water and humbled .A lovely woman and a strong warrior for Jesus..
Graduated with Marilyn. Very nice, lovely person and Larry was a good husband and father. She will be missed.
I met Marilyn when I attended the Foothills Walk to Emmaus #29 and she was the Lay Director in 2004 and she was such a blessing to me (and so many others) in her faith and authenticity. It was a privilege to get to know her better and serve with her through the years and I will miss her sweet spirit and her singing “I Keep Falling in Love With Him”. Larry, you and your family will be in our prayers, our hearts hurt for you all…but we rejoice that she is healed and home with Christ.

Larry and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing. She was a true blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her. I first met Marilyn through Lay Speaking (Lay Servant) Ministry when she was the instructor when I took the Preach course. She will truly be missed, but I am thankful that she is now healed in Heaven where I am certain she heard, “Well done, my faithful servant.” My deepest condolences and prayers are with you all.
In Christ, Roger Alan Young, Jr.
I first met Marilyn on my walk to Emannus#29. She always had a smile on her face and was such an inspiration to me..I’m so sorry for your loss Larry but know heaven definitely gained another Angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Judy McAlister.
I was blessed to cross paths with Marilyn back in 1989 during a Lay Servant Ministries class and then to serve many times with her on Emmaus walks. What I will always remember was her smile and her love for Jesus Christ. Many years later she became my pastor at Brandon UMC and I was truly blessed to walk that journey with her and Larry. I know she is free of pain and is singing with the angels. Larry and family, know you remain in my prayers. She was a good woman.
We thank God that our lives intersected with Marilyn. She was a beautiful Christian lady and always had a way of inspiring others. Our prayers are with the family.
