Kirby,Thelma, and the entire Ballew family, I am so very sorry for the great pain that you are now feeling. I know first hand the heart ache, for I have walked in tour shoes. No one can know the grief that you carry, unless they have been down the road that we have. No matter how young or old, they are always our children in our hearts. May God hold each of you in his caring hands, to comfort you always. Kirby, we have been friends a long time, and just remember that I will always cherish the memories that we share. My friend just know that I will always be here, at any time you need me. May God make smooth the path before you in the trying times ahead. Your friend forever. Ray
To Kirby, Thelma, Victoria and the whole Ballew family. I can’t imagine how painful this is to walk through. Please know you all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord give you strength and ultimately peace.
I cannot begin to fathom the pain you are feeling. My prayers are lifted for you all as you walk this path of grief and loss. Scott was a special person who seemed to be torn in many directions. He can rest now though – no more day to day tug of war with that big heart inside him. I was blessed to know him and also be among his many 1st cousins. Love, Robin Cantrell
Scott was a kind and big hearted man. I will never forget serving with him on the Faith Team. He had such a zeal for Christ. My heart is heavy for his immediate family and I will be praying for all of you as you continue life’s journey without this precious man. I am blessed to know him but even more so to be one of his cousins. No more struggles Scott. We have a huge hole in our family, but God has gained another saint.
My dear Thelma, Kirby and all the Ballew family…
I imagine this grief is like actual physical pain and I wish I could take that pain away from you. You are both familiar with dealing with the grief of others, but when it is your own it is so different. We love you and will pray for your good memories to, in time, give you comfort.
With our heartfelt sympathy, Cathy, Carol and Al

Kirby, Thelma and Family – I was shocked, saddened and heartbroken to hear about my friend Scott’s passing. I just loved Scott, thought the world of him; we went to Sunday School together a few years back, talked on the phone a lot about issues and life and things we were dealing with back then. He was a true friend, one that I trusted and had a lot of respect for. Scott will be missed, but not forgotten.
Life is short and precious as we all know. We have to continue spreading love and hope wherever we go as this world needs it.
Love you all, and I will continue lifting up the family in my prayers.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family on the loss of your father, Grandfather, son and brother. When you see an individual such as Scott that has not been able to live their life out to the full, one may wonder why did my loved one have to die at all. But God gives us his personal promise found in the Bible at Revelation 21:4, where God tells us that very soon he will do away with death and sickness from the Earth forever, and then he will resurrect Scott to perfect life here on a fully cleansed Earth, being reunited with family and friends and being able to experience life as God meant it to be.
Sylvia and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you on the loss of Scott. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
