Dottie Grant, 94, of Simpsonville, widow of Charles Grant, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 26, 2019.
Born in Flint, MI, she was a daughter of the late Loyd & Wilhelmine McLachlan. Mrs. Grant was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville.
She is survived by her granddaughters, Charity ManWaring and Hope Schofield; her grandson, Robert Grant; and one sister, Ellie Dzuro.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by their son, Robert Charles Grant; her daughter-in-law, Mair Grant; and brother, Raymond McLachlan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Altizer Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 AM prior to the service.
Mrs. “Dottie” requested that memorials be made to: Calvary Baptist Church, 3810 Grandview Dr., Simpsonville, SC 29680.
