W. Henry Pittard, 93, of Simpsonville, widower of Ila Farnell Pittard, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 while at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Monticello, GA, he was a son of the late James M. and Lois Pittard. Mr. Pittard was a member of Simpsonville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Eve Pittard Harris and her husband, Robert A. Dickinson, of Alpharetta, GA, and Ellen Pittard Deaton and her husband, Randy Deaton, of Fork Shoals; grandchildren, Kevin Harris and Christopher Harris both of Alpharetta, GA, Will Pittard, Jeremy Deaton and Nicole Deaton of Fork Shoals; one great-granddaughter, Mia; and one sister, Louise Burch.

In addition to his wife, Ila, He was preceded in death by one brother, James Pittard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Simpsonville United Methodist Church with Rev. George Riser and Rev. Joel Jones officiating.

Burial will be in Monticello, GA.
