Tillie M. Brooks
Tillie M. Brooks, 88, of Piedmont, widow of Charles Redman Brooks, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 while at home with her family.
Born in Hayes, KS, she was a daughter of the late Andrew j. Brown and the late Helen Schwasinger Brown. Mrs. Brooks was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Conestee.
She is survived by sons, Rick Brooks (Mary) of Gray Court, and Steve Brooks (Jackie) of Fountain Inn; one daughter, Susan Barnett of Piedmont; one daughter-in-law Sue Brooks of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Lisa Shafer, Tracy Beeman, Justin Brooks (Dee), Cody Brooks (Nikki), Jennifer Brooks, David Brooks (Katrina), Gina Smith (Marc), Jamie Henderson, Jessica Ebersole (Matt), and John Miller (Stacey); twenty one great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
In addition to her husband, Chuck, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Edward Brooks and Douglas Allen Brooks; and a daughter, Janet Marie Henderson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 1:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Conestee with Pastor Tony Finney officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church starting at 12:00 PM prior to the service.
Interment will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 12:00 PM in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Brooks family, so sorry for you lose of your loved one. May God make smooth the path before you in the days ahead. Your friends in Christ.
