Minnie Iola Tripp

Minnie Iola Tripp, age 99, widow of Junius Tripp, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Emma Ellison McCoy. She was a homemaker and a member of Laurens Church of Christ.

Mrs. Tripp is survived by four sons, David Tripp, Ronnie Tripp (Gloria), Roger Tripp (MaryAnn), and Keith Tripp (Linda); a step-daughter, Christine Kirk; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a step-daughter, Madlyn McMullen; a sister, Louise Parker; and five brothers, Albert, Paul, Frank, Clarence Lee, and Ray McCoy.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Cannon Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Minister Darryl Tripp, Minister Jerry Harris, and Dean Tripp with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Cannon Funeral Home.
