Annie L Cox
Annie Laura Cunningham Cox, age 83, widow of Rev. Leonard Avery Cox, Jr., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Southland Health Care Center.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Leland and Grace Richardson Cunningham. Mrs. Cox was a member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church. She was a kind, loving, and compassionate wife, mother, and friend who was an inspiration to every man, woman, and child she met.
Mrs. Cox is survived by a daughter, Lenora Rabon and husband Lamar J.; three sons, James “Jimmy” L. Cox and wife Nina, Warren G. Cox and wife Barbara, and Phillip W. Cox; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home Chapel, 1150 N. Main Street, Fountain Inn, conducted by Dr. Randy Harling with burial in East North Street Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of Phillip Cox, 543 Bethel Drive, Mauldin.
