Patsy Powell

Patsy Marie Powell, age 68, wife of Jerry Powell, of 1388 Burnt Mill Creek Road, went home to her Savior on Friday, April 27, 2012.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Walter Clyde and Edna Mae Freeman Armstrong. Mrs. Powell was a loving homemaker. She was a very active member of North Bonami Missionary Baptist Church of Kirbyville, Texas where she was a Sunday School teacher and choir director.

Mrs. Powell is survived by a son, Kevin Kopper and wife Lori; a daughter, Darlene D. Braswell and husband Ralph, Jr.; four grandchildren, Raylene Kopper, Melissa Bandy, Justin Bandy, and Makayla Kopper; three great grandchildren, Melanie, Emily, and Arianna; her extended children, Lindsay Combee and Carolyn Sanders; several step-children and step-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Clyde Armstrong and wife Fran and Jimmy Armstrong and wife Alice; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Cody Lee Kopper.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11:00 am at Cannon Funeral Home, 1150 North Main Street, Fountain Inn conducted by Rev. Elzy Kelley with burial in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home.
