Huey (Hue) K. Houser

Mr. Huey (Hue) K. Houser, 78, of Fountain Inn, SC, died Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville. He was born June 10, 1933, in Knoxville, TN, a son of the late Dorse and Eugenia Swaggerty Houser and was the widower of Barbara Houser. He was a retired, self-employed Mechanical Engineer. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Houser of Simpsonville, Scott Houser and his wife Patricia of Gray Court; daughter, Susan Henson of Fountain Inn; three grandchildren, Matthew Henson, Rebecca Henson and Crystal Houser; sister, Marian Braatz of Knoxville, TN.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, in the Chapel of Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn. Interment will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral service.
