Mae Kellett

Mae Donald Kellett, age 93, widow of James Thomas Kellett, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Fountain Inn Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Ila Harvey Donald. She was a member of Fairview Street Baptist Church and was a former member of Fork Shoals Baptist Church and was retired from Fork Shoals Elementary School.

Mrs. Kellett is survived by three daughters, Maxine Vaughan and late husband Gordon, Norma Norwood and late husband Heyward, and Carol Bindewald and husband John; a son, Tony Kellett and wife Jan; nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous neices, nephews and other friends and family. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.

A celebration of Mrs. Kellett’s life will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Cannon Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Fork Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cannon Funeral Home.

The family will be at the home of Tony and Jan Kellett.
