Kathryn Payne Raines

Mrs. Kathryn Payne Raines, 75, of Gray Court passed away April 2, 2010 at her residence.
She was born June 18, 1934 in Cummings, GA to the late James Payne and Bessie Day Payne.

She was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to all.

She was predeceased by her husband, Odis C. Raines, Jr.

Surviving are daughters, Sandra Williams (David), Teresa Smith (Daniel), Kathleen Wilkerson (Terry), all of Gray Court; brothers, Brad Payne of Mauldin, Billy Payne and Jerry Payne both of Conestee; sister, Nancy Waters of Fork Shoals; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hickory Tavern Church of God. Rev. Terry Wilkerson, Rev. Chad Jordan, Rev. James Hughes and Rev. Matthew Suttle will officiate. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the funeral hour. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
