Mary Norwood Pearson

Mary Norwood Pearson, 74, of Fountain Inn, SC went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at her residence. She was born August 20, 1935, a daughter of the late Willie and Beatrice Lawson Norwood and was the wife of Jack N. Pearson. She was a member of Emmanuel Praise and Worship Center. Mrs. Pearson was formerly employed at the Furman Textile Plant as an Inspector.

Survivors include her husband Jack Pearson of Fountain Inn; granddaughters Stephanie Brownlee of Laurens and Shanon Humphries of Blue Ridge, SC. ; five great grandchildren; sisters Ruby Waldrop of Fountain Inn and Rosie Barbare of Conestee; brother Calvin Norwood of Simpsonville. She was preceded in death by her son Randall Pearson; brother Archie Norwood and sister Linda Mason.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sept. 10, 2009 Thursday at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, with Rev. Eugene McElhannon officiating. Interment will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

The family will be at their home.
