Donna Jean Brookshire, 84, of Simpsonville, SC, widow of Clarence Brookshire, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Born in Conway, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hewbert and Virginia Edwards.
Donna is survived by three children, Debra Brookshire, David Andrew Brookshire, and Michael Jon Brookshire; three grandchildren, Jesscia Hope Brookshire, McKensie Brookshire, and Kendall Brookshire; two great grandchildren, Bella Wood and Bently Wood; and two sisters, Patsy Salter (Billy) and Debra Hickman.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Ann Brookshire; and a sister, Betty Ann Hutton, and a great grandchild, Savana Wood.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home; 1150 N. Main St., Fountain Inn, SC 29644. Inurnment will follow in the Whispering Waters Garden at Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
