Anna Rod Patterson

Anna Rod Patterson, 85, of Simpsonville, wife of Richard D. Patterson for 68 years, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 9, 2017.

Mrs. Patterson was a daughter of the late Russell Rod and the late Lorine Graves.

Mrs. Patterson was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She taught piano, worked as a secretary and in the real estate industry.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Lois Ann Grill and husband, Walter, of Greenville, and Nancy Lewis of Woodruff; one son, Rev. John B. Patterson and his wife, Debra, of Woodruff; six grandchildren, Sandi Wilson, Ruth Lewis, Lois Lewis, Richard Lewis, John Patterson, Jr. and Kimbraly Patterson; and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12th at Cannon Funeral Home starting at 1:00 pm.

A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Cannon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.
