Thea E Kennedy

Mr. Thea E. Kennedy, 77, of Simpsonville, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. He was the Husband of Shelby Yeargin Kennedy and a son of the late Joe Kennedy and Helen Davis Kennedy.

Mr. Kennedy severed his country in the United States Army and was a member of Word of Life Ministry.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Sheree Barton and her husband, Josh, of Simpsonville; three sons, Ed Kennedy and his wife, Teresa, of Greer, Steve Kennedy and his wife, Raychel, of Greenville, and Robbie Kennedy and his wife, Teresa, of Greer; two brothers, Larry Kennedy and his wife, Judy, of Laurens, and Joey Kennedy and his wife, Kandi, of Anderson; one sister, Eileen Kennedy of Anderson; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Kennedy, and one infant sister.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 14, 2017 at Word of Life Ministry at 2:30 pm.

The family will receive friends at the church starting at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow the service at Cannon Memorial Park.
