Beverly M. Smith, 83, of Simpsonville, widow of the late Billy Smith, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Silas Frank Massey and Margery Watt.
She is survived by her children, Barry (Debbie) Smith, Barbara (Scott) Bryant; grandchildren, Blake (Caitlin) Smith, Lauren (Jordan Clements) Bryant and Tori (Diana) Sprinkle; great granddaughter, Emmaleigh Simmons; brother-in-law, Willis (Virginia) Smith and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a stepfather, John Gresham; and her siblings, Sherrill Massey, Tommy Massey and Silas Frank Massey Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Fountain Inn at 1150 North Main Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Entombment will take place in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park following the service.
