Gerard M. Cornioli

Gerard Maurice Cornioli, 84, of Fountain Inn, SC, husband of Doris E. Cornioli, passed away on December 15, 2025. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was a son of Primo and Anne Logan Cornioli. He was a proud retired Marine Corps Veteran Staff Sargent of 20 years.

In addition to his wife, Gerard is survived by his daughter, Mary Birchfield (Dwaight); three grandchildren, Isabella Hammond, Michael Cornioli, and Sarah Cornioli; and four siblings, Tony Cornioli (Helen), Mary Jo Evans, Peggy DeMichele (Louis), and Lisa Trapane.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gerry Cornioli; and siblings.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home; 1150 N. Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Interment will be held in M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
