Jacqueline Greene

Jacqueline Greene, 93, of Simpsonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 13, 2025.  She was the daughter of the late Lawton W. and the late Annie Huff Greene.

Ms. Greene was a lifelong resident of Simpsonville and a member of First Baptist Church Simpsonville.  She graduated from Furman University in 1953 and taught for 37 years at Simpsonville Elementary School.  After retiring, she served 10 years as the part-time secretary for First Baptist Church.

Ms. Greene is survived by her niece, Lynn Cooper Martin of Aiken.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Anne Cooper; her brother, Ernest H. Greene; her brother-in-law, Thomas B. Cooper Jr., and a son-in-law, Craig L. Martin.

The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of First Baptist Church Simpsonville / Upstate Church on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Ms. Greene will be laid to rest in the Simpsonville City Cemetery following the service in a private committal service.
