Betty was the kindest nicest Christian mother and friend I have had the pleasure to know. But what a fun person she was! We hosted our granddaughters for many Christmas seasons helping them to bake and decorate cookies and cupcakes for their families. Such fun! And she was a treasured receptionist at my office, covering for the guys who took an after lunch nap when things were slow. I reminded her of that last Thursday and she gifted me with a chuckle and a smile. I will miss her so much. Her quiet Christian spirit and kind heart made us friends here for more than 40 years, but when I see her again, there will be no more sad goodbyes.
