Lois Carolyn Kielmeyer

Lois Carolyn Kielmeyer, 78, of Simpsonville, wife of Virgil Kenneth Kielmeyer, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Born in Faribault, MN, she was a daughter of the late Oscar George Foss and the late Rose Pautz Foss. Lois served her entire career in the healthcare industry. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Greenville Memorial Hospital, Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, and National Health Care for a combination of 30 years prior to her retirement.

In addition to her husband, Virgil, she is survived by three sons, Scott Kielmeyer of Wilson, WI, Jeff Kielmeyer and his wife, Yvonne, of Simpsonville, and Greg Kielmeyer and his wife, Lily, of Greenville; one daughter, Lisa Gomez, of Worland, WY; grandchildren, Dannel, Morgan, Cristina, Mark and Andrew; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lorraine Winter.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Foss, and two sisters, JoAnne Miller and Marlys Berg.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 pm.
