Norma Louise Richardson Kloeckener
Norma Louise Richardson Kloeckener, 81, of Greenville, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, after a long illness.
Born October 7, 1935 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late M.B. Richardson and Mary Reese Richrdardson of Pendleton. She was the widow of Frederick H. Kloeckener.
She is survived by her brother, Mathias B. Richardson and sister-in-law Tina of Pendleton; one daughter Mary Lesa Brady and son-in-law, David of Norwood, MA, a niece, Alicia Richardson Rhodes and husband, Cary, of Charlotte, NC, and their children, Madden and Payson. She is also survived by beloved caregivers: Marvin Allen, Carolyn Black, Carol Harvey and Madonna Callahan.
Norma was a graduate of Furman University, earning a B.A. in English. She also studied Drama. Her early career was dedicated to teaching English and Drama to high school students. In marrying Frederick Kloeckener she lived in New York City, Rome, Italy and Jacksonville, FL. Through the years, Norma continued to provide education and support to schools and performing arts communities.
A Memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 313 North Main Street in Simpsonville, on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047
