Junius Eugene “Gene” Boles Jr.

Gene Boles, 78, of Simpsonville, husband of Eloise Boles for 54 years, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 13, 2017 while surrounded by his family.

Born in Kings Mountain, NC he was a son of the late Junius Eugene Boles and Lola Bailey Boles. Mr. Boles was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. He served our country in the United States Navy.

In addition to his wife, Eloise, he is survived by one daughter, Donna Thompson Green and her husband, Victor, of TN; two grandchildren, Bailey Thompson of CO and Tyler Thompson of TN; three step-grandchildren, Jackson, Austin and Ryder Green all of TN; and one great-grandson, Micah Thompson of CO.

Mr. Boles was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Bobby & Frank Boles.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Altizer Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Graziano officiating.

The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
