Frederick Anderson “Andy” Breeden
Frederick Anderson “Andy” Breeden, 76, of Greenville, SC passed away after declining health on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Born in Charlottesville, VA on January 16, 1941 he was a son of the late Russell and Alice Breeden. He moved to Greenville, SC in 1962 to build golf courses with his brother and golf course architect dad. He worked as a self-employed siding contractor before retiring in 2004 after suffering a stroke. Some of Andy’s favorite past times were building and racing dirt track cars, restoring and remodeling old vehicles, bird dog hunting, fishing, gardening and dancing with “his Ann.”
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, dance partner and caretaker of 22 years, Ann Lee and their beloved dog, Baby; three children, his son, Rick (Kim) Breeden, twin daughters, Faye (Buddy) Fowler and Renee (Wayne) Crouch; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his sisters, Dianne Ainsley and Connie (Johnnie) Wood; his former wife and mother of his children, Joan Blackwell; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn O’Neal Breeden; and a grandson, Corey Anderson Breeden.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 12:00 PM in Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, SC 29673 with Rev. Chris Bryan officiating.
